Selecting a ceramic tile floor is very personal because there are so many designs and sizes to choose from and because installations can be as unique as your imagination.

Rooms have gotten larger as homes have and so have ceramic tile sizes.  Familiar 4 and 12" squares have been joined by 6, 18, 20 and even 24" square tiles and rectangles, and 9 by 12", 11 by 14" pieces and larger.

Ceramic tile continues to be a great product for bathrooms and kitchens.  But designers are finding it fashionable too, for other areas in the home like foyers, family and game rooms, sun porches, and as decorative inserts for custom installations.
